Expo Go shows an error when opening a prototype

  1. 1Make sure Expo Go is on the latest version, update it from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. 2Close Expo Go fully (swipe it away) and reopen it, then try scanning or opening the link again.
  3. 3If using Studio: copy the error message or take a screenshot and paste it into the Studio chat, the AI will fix it.
  4. 4If the error persists, email support with a screenshot.

The web preview keeps spinning and never loads

The Expo Snack embed compiles the screen in your browser via WebAssembly. On the first load it can take 10–20 seconds.

  1. 1Wait up to 30 seconds, the first load is always slower.
  2. 2Hard-refresh the page: Cmd+Shift+R on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows.
  3. 3Try a different browser (Chrome works most reliably).
  4. 4If it still fails, use the Expo Go phone preview instead, it is faster and more reliable.

The QR code isn't working

  1. 1Confirm your phone and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. 2Open Expo Go, tap the scan icon in the top-right, and point directly at the QR code.
  3. 3If scanning fails, tap "Open in Expo Go" on the screen page instead, then tap "Open with Expo" on your phone's browser.
  4. 4Make sure Expo Go has camera permission on your phone (Settings → Expo Go → Camera).

My generated screen has a bug or looks wrong

Send a follow-up message in the same session describing exactly what is wrong. The AI will fix it. Be specific:

  • "The header is overlapping the status bar"
  • "The card text is too small on iPhone SE"
  • "The scroll view doesn't bounce at the end"
  • "The colors are too dark, lighten the background"

If follow-up messages do not help, start a new generation with a more detailed prompt. See Writing effective prompts for guidance.

I can't sign in

  1. 1Use the Forgot password link to reset your password.
  2. 2If you signed up with Google, use the "Continue with Google" button, email/password sign-in will not work for Google accounts.
  3. 3Clear your browser cookies and try again.
  4. 4If none of those work, email support with your account email address.

My credits disappeared

Plan credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Check your current balance in your profile.

If credits were deducted without a generation completing successfully, contact support@rnblocks.dev with the date and approximate time and the credit will be refunded.

Generation keeps failing or shows nothing

If a generation appears to produce nothing, try refreshing the page and waiting a few minutes, the generation may still be running in the background.

  1. 1Refresh the page and wait a few minutes before concluding it failed.
  2. 2If still nothing, try again with a simpler prompt.
  3. 3If it fails multiple times in a row, check your credit balance, a failed generation does not deduct credits.
  4. 4If failures persist, email support.

The copy or download isn't working

Copying code requires being signed in. Downloading Studio .zip files requires an active Studio plan.

  1. 1Make sure you are signed in.
  2. 2For Studio downloads, confirm your Studio plan is active in your profile.
  3. 3Try a hard-refresh (Cmd+Shift+R / Ctrl+Shift+R) and try again.
  4. 4If it still fails, email support.
