Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RNBlocks ("Service"), operated by Avara Technologies Inc ("Avara", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to use RNBlocks. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. The Service

RNBlocks is a React Native screen template marketplace and AI generation platform. The Service includes:

• Browsing and previewing curated React Native screen templates (available without an account)
• Downloading screen source code (.tsx files) — free with a registered account
• AI-powered single-screen generation — requires a Pro subscription
• Multi-screen flow generation — requires a Studio subscription
• Generation history and sharing of flows

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure including Expo Snack (previews), Anthropic Claude (AI generation), Stripe (payments), and Supabase (authentication and data storage). We are not responsible for outages or changes to these third-party services.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@rnblocks.dev if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may sign up with email/password, Google, or GitHub. Your account is personal and may not be shared with others.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans (Pro and Studio) are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
• Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will retry using Stripe's standard retry schedule. Continued failure may result in suspension of paid features.
• Price changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
• Credit top-ups: One-time credit purchases are non-refundable once processed.

5. Credits

Credits are an internal usage accounting mechanism. They are not currency, have no monetary value outside the Service, and cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash. Monthly credits are allocated per billing period and expire at the end of that period — unused credits do not roll over. Credit allocations per plan may change with 30 days' notice.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate React Native component code based on your prompts.

• Ownership: You own the code generated in response to your prompts. We do not claim ownership of your generated output.
• No warranty: Generated code is provided as-is. We make no warranty that it is production-ready, bug-free, secure, accessible, or free from third-party intellectual property claims.
• Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and deploying any generated code. We are not liable for issues arising from its use in production.
• Data sent to Anthropic: Your generation prompts and relevant context are sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic's own privacy policy and data retention terms apply to that data.
• Availability: AI generation may be temporarily unavailable due to API rate limits, maintenance, or third-party outages. No credits are deducted for failed generation requests.

7. Intellectual Property

All curated screen templates, the RNBlocks platform, its design, code, and branding are owned by Avara Technologies Inc or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use downloaded screen templates and generated code in your personal or commercial React Native projects. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute templates or generated code as a standalone component library or competing product.

You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or reproduce Avara's AI system prompts, generation pipeline, or proprietary design systems.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Automate bulk generation for resale or to train competing AI models
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download marketplace content
• Attempt to bypass payment, credit metering, or access controls
• Share Pro or Studio account credentials with multiple users
• Submit prompts designed to produce harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

9. Shared & Public Content

You may choose to make generated flows publicly accessible via a share link. By doing so, you grant Avara a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform for as long as it remains public. You retain ownership.

You must not share content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights. If we receive a valid DMCA takedown notice relating to your shared content, we will remove it and notify you. Repeat infringement will result in account termination.

10. Account Deletion & Data Retention

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. Deletion is subject to a 30-day grace period during which your account is suspended but recoverable. After 30 days, your account and all associated data — including generation history, flows, and profile information — are permanently and irreversibly deleted.

We may retain anonymised, non-identifiable backups for operational and disaster recovery purposes for up to 90 days after hard deletion.

If you have an active paid subscription at the time of deletion, we recommend cancelling it before initiating account deletion.

11. Termination by Avara

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay outstanding fees, initiate fraudulent chargebacks, or use the Service in a way that harms others.

On termination, your access to paid features is revoked immediately. Downloaded or generated code already in your possession remains yours under the licence granted in Section 7.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor are we responsible for the availability or content of third-party services the Service depends on.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Avara Technologies Inc and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity.

Our total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Avara Technologies Inc from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, content you share publicly on the platform, or your use of downloaded or generated code in production.

15. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service you consent to the practices described therein.

16. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Avara Technologies Inc is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@rnblocks.dev to attempt informal resolution. Unresolved disputes shall be settled through binding individual arbitration. You waive any right to participate in class action proceedings.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service before the effective date.
